INCIPIO Presents: MIDSUMMER, a concert centered around the works of esteemed Buffalo-based composer Caroline Mallonee. Alongside a world premiere of her Teasdale motets, Midsummer Nights, the performance will feature more examples of her imagery-rich choral repertoire. Settings of Teasdale, Rosetti, Shakespeare, and Tennyson by Mallonee and 20th-century English composers Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Murrill, and Finzi weave throughout a beautiful program befitting of a Summer day.
Please join us on Saturday, August 8, at 3 pm at the charming Meeting House in Williamsville for this wonderful performance by a 16-voice chamber choir, pulled from the larger ensemble. Admission will be pay-what-you-can, so you are encouraged to invite friends and family members to join us at whatever cost is manageable for them.
