INCIPIO presents ELEMENTAL

Join us for our fall concert, ELEMENTAL. This program is all music about fire, water, earth, and air. With sounds both experimental and classic, we explore the beauty, wonder, and ancient alchemy our natural world has to offer! Join us to officially open our fourth season with mystical, magical sounds from composers Long, Mallonee, Whitacre, Lyon Hazzard, and more, specially featuring the SSAATTBB version of Katerina Gimon’s evocative, alluring Elements.

INCIPIO sings Doors Open Buffalo

Join a chamber ensemble of INCIPIO singers for the magnificent annual Doors Open Buffalo Event! We will once again be providing music at St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral, our beloved rehearsal home, including classical sacred favorites and new unique arrangements from a variety of our past and upcoming concerts.

Visit us anytime Saturday, September 28 anytime between 10am and 2pm at St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral. We will be singing on and off throughout the event, and joining forces with Cathedral organist Dr. Nicholas Halbert to showcase our home’s beauty and resonance.

The event is free and allows access to several historic downtown buildings in addition to the Cathedral, but requires registration through Explore Buffalo - click here to register!

INCIPIO visits the Portageville Summer Concert Series

INCIPIO is thrilled to visit the Portageville Chapel for their Summer Concert Series and present Nature Is Ever At Work! Debuting a chamber group made up of INCIPIO’s core singers, we will offer a program of works devoted to the glory of our earth, featuring a special presentation of Jonathan Dove's The Passing of the Year and the world premiere of Caroline Mallonee's Nature Motets along with other choral favorites. Join us for a refreshing summer evening of vibrant choral music celebrating the resplendence of nature near the scenic Letchworth State Park.

The concert begins at 7pm, with doors open at 6:30pm. Admission is free, with a free will offering accepted at the door to support building renovations of the historic Chapel. To learn more about our concert and the full Summer Concert Series, visit the Portageville Chapel website here.

INCIPIO presents: GLORIA

Join us for our spring concert, GLORIA: a celebration of triumphant choral sound at none other that the region’s liturgical gem, OLV National Shrine & Basilica. We are excited to present the world premiere of Roland Martin’s full choral and organ song cycle, Such Glorious Gifts, alongside shorter works for large choir and organ. We will also be helping break in OLV’s newly-revamped organ setup, including a brand new front console and pipework! Join us for this historic event as we close our third season with a joyful noise.

Join INCIPIO on September 16th as we debut our brand new small vocal jazz group for an afternoon of pop covers, old standards, and 80s hits.

Featuring music by Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Kirby Shaw, the Real Group, k-os, and more. With singers Julia Anne Cordani, Philomena Vennari, Elizabeth Vennari, Tyler Huk, Ryan Clemons, and Brandon Mecklenburg.

This is a free concert hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, Saturday, September 16 at 2pm.

INCIPIO sings MOVIE MUSIC, GAME GROOVES

Join us for a rousing concert of selections from your favorite nostalgic movies, games, and shows. Featuring hits from Disney’s “Hercules” and “The Lion King”, Studio Ghibli’s “Princess Mononoke”, games like Red Dead Redemption II and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and MORE!

Incipio’s mission is to give young and burgeoning singers an opportunity to perform groundbreaking, evocative music in a group that prepares them for the professional vocal world. The group aims to perform a diverse repertoire – everything from video game music, to folk songs, to Broadway and pop ballads, to some very classic madrigals. Our singers, who come from a diverse array of backgrounds united by their musicianship, include several young music educators, choir singers, and professional performers from around Western New York.

First Trinity Lutheran & Valparaiso University Guild's 66th Annual Christmas Vespers

Join a pan-WNY choir, featuring singers from Western New York Kinderchor, INCIPIO, The Lutheran Chorale, and other groups, as we sing a candlelight Vespers service.

This years theme is “Light for the Nations”, so we’ll be featuring music from various traditions around the world, all in celebration of the glory of Christmas.

First Trinity Hymn Festival

This is a special event focused on congregational song, linked by readings, narrations and prayer. All are welcome Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m., FREE admission.

Jacob Weber, a prolific composer and accomplished organist from St. Louis, will lead the singing by playing First Trinity’s renowned Schlicker pipe organ. Our congregation has recently completed an extensive renovation of the organ. Featuring members of Julia’s Voice Studio as well as INCIPIO singers!

Inviolata Music is thrilled to give our first ever choral concert: presenting, INCIPIO. Join us on Friday night to experience the magic!

“Incipio”, from Latin, means "begin". Our mission is simple: to give young and burgeoning singers an opportunity to perform groundbreaking, evocative music in a group that prepares them for the professional vocal world. This concert features a diverse repertoire – everything from video game music, to folk songs, to a Nine Inch Nails cover, to some very classic madrigals. Our singers, who come from a diverse array of backgrounds united by their musicianship, include several young music educators, choir singers, and professional performers from around Western New York. We have been hard at work preparing a night of unique music that you won't soon forget!

This concert is presented FREE at First Trinity Lutheran Church (1570 Niagara Falls Boulevard) this Friday, May 20 at 7pm. We can't wait to see you, celebrate with you, and make some truly glorious music for you.
